World of Warcraft Item Upgrade and Set Bonuses
The item upgrade is an enchantment which increases the base stats of specific weapons or armor. This includes secondary stats like Leech and Speed.
A special evolution item that allows Porygon to transform into Porygon2. This item is available at Pokestops or Gyms.
Universal upgrades can be applied to any type of equipment and provide smaller bonuses than other components that are specific to the type of equipment.
Leveling

Upgrades allow players to upgrade their items by increasing their levels. The item's "guaranteed bonuses" are also enhanced with the level increase. Every level increase increases the stats of the item by +3 and adds an extra bonus based on the tier of the item. These bonuses range from +3 bonus, to a +1 bonus or a random buff.
Each item is limited to a particular number of upgrades. After the upgrade, the item can still be upgraded to a product of equal or greater worth.
This method is beneficial for players who wish to acquire gear with a specific level of stats prior to acquiring an item that is new. The transfer system allows players to not waste upgrade materials and is easy to use.
Upgrade materials are gathered when players clear their content and are used to improve or replace an item. Each item requires a particular kind of upgrade material. Weapons require Destruction Stones while armor requires Guardian or Harmony Leapstones. When an item is upgraded, the materials are changed to a different name. For example, Stone Fragments becomes Stones and Harmony Shards becomes Life Shards.
It is essential to upgrade items in order to boost a character's performance. However it is also crucial to consider how much this will cost. Each time an item is upgraded, it will cost an amount of gold that could be better spent on an entirely new piece of equipment. This cost is the reason why it is best to only upgrade the most important items in any given scenario.
This usually involves upgrading the weapon first before the legs and chest and finally the helm. If the player can afford it upgrading trinkets must be considered at this point to increase their potential for procs. For instance, a top-of-the-line Throne of Thunder trinket may be worth upgrading to get more damage that its procs can bring. Certain trinkets are not worth upgrading until they can offer an enhancement that is significant to the specific build. This is especially true of some breakpoint gear that are used to calculate high-value stats such as IAS or FHR.
Rerolling
Rerolling is a method that lets players change the stats of a weapon, armor or ring based on the type. It can be used to replace bonuses or add new ones. It can also be used to alter the item's power base.
While rerolling can be beneficial to boost your power in the early phases of the game, it's not a necessary aspect of the game. Once you've reached the level 6 upgrade goal, it's generally better to reroll and find the most powerful upgrades or save the cash for the next set of items. This will help you to have an effective team by the time you achieve your goal of upgrading to level 9.
The rerolling process is like the system of leveling up. Reroll tokens can be used to remove any Level Up option and replace it with another. Reroll tokens unlike Level Up do not reset the level of an item. This means that when you roll an upgraded item it won't be at the same level and won't have its additional bonus.
Players can also use the special mechanic Eliminate, to eliminate any Level Up option they have on their equipment or weapons. This is helpful if you've got a bad gacha or need to roll an item that has five stars. You'll need to create a brand new account or sign in via social media.
In the same way, there is an Occultist in every town which can be visited to alter a weapon or armor's Aspects and/or stats. This is helpful if are looking to improve your epic five-star unit, or even if your four-star elite player is causing you problems.
Rerolling tokens can be obtained by completing certain quests. They can be bought from the Occultist for 300 gold or you can find them in the holozon boxes which are dropped after completing certain dungeons. You can reroll any weapon, armor or ring by moving the icon on the page of your unit and locking the lock to the desired slot.
Sets
A set is a set of items that share some similarity. Sets are used every day. For instance an egg dozen or a group of friends. They are helpful because they allow you to organize things, and operations like intersection, union and difference can help you manage them efficiently. Sets can be utilized in many different ways, ranging from organizing music in a playlist to classifying students based on their grades.
In Nioh the game uses Sets to provide special effects when players wear armor of a set of armor. These bonuses are referred to as Set Bonuses, and they can be superior to Effects. While it's not explained in the universe why armor sets must be worn together to create these effects, they do give an interesting change of pace when playing the game. The armor sets that have Set Bonuses can be found in several places throughout Hyrule as well as the Dark Moon and Twilight Temple.
Set Bonuses are a part of each piece of equipment within the Set. The tooltip at the bottom of the item will tell you what Set Bonuses are available. Set Bonuses are displayed in a box with the red border.
Some of these set bonuses are only available for specific pieces of equipment. If item upgrading purchase the entire Phantom Armor set, you will get +8 defense (instead of the 3 defense you receive with other equipment). Some sets are only available through completing specific tasks or by purchasing them from the Auction House.
It is possible to receive Set Bonuses for multiple pieces of equipment simultaneously. For instance, if you have the complete Kestra's Descent set and the parts that match from the Twinblade of Shadow you will be eligible for the + version that set's bonus when you meet it.
In contrast to Effects which change every time you upgrade them Set Bonuses are identical even as the pieces of equipment they are connected to increase in. If an item is exemplared to levels that are not enough the set bonus will stop working.
Set bonuses
Set bonuses are unique effects that are available on a gear set that can give a bonus in battle. They grant a specific percentage of a specific stat, such as defenses, weapon damage, or resistances. They do not stack however, only one of them will be active at any given moment. The amount of an attribute is determined by the amount of pieces in the set. For example you could have three weapons and four chests, but only one of them will benefit you.
In general, they increase the primary stats of a piece, however they can also boost secondary stats as well. Defence bonuses increase three positional defense values and two typed defenses as an example a complete five-piece set of Hundings Rage will add up to a total of about 400 defense in your gear. This is a large increase in your gear, especially as a melee character.
This is an extremely useful feature, and it seems to be among the more popular in the game. At present, only a handful of gear sets come with set bonuses, and they are only available in the Test Realm, but expect the number to increase when the update goes live. The bonus will be added to the 7 school specific Dragoons gear, as an example.
Set bonuses do not stack inside a set but they can stack across sets. This is ideal for players who want to make the most efficient combination of sets. It does require some planning. Set bonuses only affect the shell (not the armoring or mods) of an piece of equipment, so you should be aware when placing them.
A key point to note is that a set bonus's strength will not change when you have an exemplar that is more than three levels below the minimum level that is allowed for an Enhancement of that kind. This rule doesn't apply to purple (Very rare) Sets PvP Sets, Sets for PvP and Archetype Origin Sets. Their set bonuses are in effect regardless of the exemplar level.
