Comprehensive List Of Item Upgrade Dos And Don'ts

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrading gear increases its stats base and often boosts its extras. The worth of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements and the number of random augmentations used.

The elite racial Shield Razortail For instance, it is usually upgraded to improve its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP and/or provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradable than the non-upgraded version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to reroll an item you have acquired like armor, weapon, or ring. The item is swapped for a different one of the same type, with an additional set of bonuses. Reroll tokens are an efficient method of upgrading equipment. However, they do not retain the same level as the original item and any resources wasted aren't refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. You can also find them in crates and chests, or buy them from the stores for $150 each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute of a piece of equipment, such as increasing its damage or granting it a new stat.

Players can roll equipment in three aspects: physical power, spell power, and health. Upgrades to physical power can increase damage from weapons and melee attack while upgrades to spell power increase the damage of mage attacks and ring. Health upgrades give players additional health.

There are three kinds of Reroll tokens: upgrade rare and legendary. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades that are enhanced require a standard item, rare upgrades require a special or legendary item and legendary upgrades require three legendary items.

As opposed to other tokens or markers that are placed on Action spaces the reroll marker stays on the spot until the next successful result is repeated. This allows you to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints appear in the form of envelopes at the beginning of each Preparation Phase and can be opened by grabbing them with Interact. When they are opened, they show an explanation and icon for the Ingredient or Appliance. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During a run, blueprints can be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of chosen Franchise Cards. This alters the blueprints that the restaurant's shop sells to reroll and which are available in the Non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

Weapons, armor, and accessories can be upgraded in Throne and Liberty using Growth Stones. These are special stones that boost the value of an item by improving its stats or attributes. They can be found by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. Contract Coin Merchants will sell these stones for a cost. These stones can also be purchased by players who have completed daily contracts.

To upgrade gear players first need to locate the appropriate item and then click on the "level up" button. The menu will appear showing the item's current level and what it will be after being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones needed to upgrade a piece depends on its rarity. Most often rare (blue) weapons require more than one green Growth Stone to reach their next level, while uncommon armor requires a single green or blue Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to use and pay the corresponding cost. When  item upgrade  have been fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. The item will be raised in level by a certain percentage. Based on the rarity of the item, the upgrade process can take between seconds and minutes.

The upgrade process is safe and doesn't impact the durability of the item. This makes the system an ideal way for players to get a significant advantage in combat without putting a strain on their bank account. By clicking on the "transfer tab" players can transfer their experience and progress of an upgraded item to a new piece of gear.

For new players, it can be difficult to obtain Growth Stones. There are several ways to acquire the stones. You can finish contracts and purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants, defeat Abyssal Contracts, get them from Equipment Stone Seal Book or get them from reward chests during the Ancient Arena Season. In addition players can also cut down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that allows you to boost the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade materials will be used up and the item will be upgraded to an upgraded level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded base stats will display a blue icon in their slot. Contrary to enchantments upgrade components don't stack with each other, but can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require the purchase of a certain amount of items and a minimum level of equipment.

The Upgrade Station is divided into two slots. On the left side, players can choose to add items to be upgraded. On the right, previews show what the gear looks like at its next level. When players have enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will initiate the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded a maximum of five times. Each time the item is upgraded, its base stats will be increased by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

Once an item has reached its highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Also, when  item upgrading  of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be inserted into armors, weapons trinkets, tools for gathering and weapons to provide an extra effect or attribute benefit while the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted or obtained through questing or traded between players. Upgrade components can be changed with new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

The items can be upgraded by adding upgrade components to weapons and equipment. This will give them additional effects or an increase in level of the item. These upgrades can be obtained from a variety of sources, such as crafting, buying from the Trading Post, karma vendors or looting from bosses and raids. Once an upgrade component has been inserted into an object, it isn't able to be removed or replaced. However the glyphs can be swapped freely.

Upgrades can increase an item's Mark Level or Rarity. Additionally, some upgrade components include additional modifiers which can further improve the item's stats.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" improves base defense, and also adds an extra 20% chance to block. In addition, the dps upgrade "Wildfire" increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they boost stats. They are more valuable to players if they can get a perfect roll. A perfectly rolled 200/6500 armor set piece, for example is highly coveted by the melee PvP communities and can be worth as much as 20-50 times that of the unupp'd version.
